Thank you for such a beautiful place to rest my head while I visited my dear friend in Seattle! The room was right out of a Better Homes and Garden magazine, simple gorgeous!!
Although the accommodation were fantastic, I must admit I think I enjoyed your gardens in the backyard the most. Your veggies, fruits and flowers were a delight to me as I sat out back to just relax and recharge!
It’s funny, I was just looking for a place to rest my head but you/The Welty House actually added to my Epic vacation to the Northwest! It will be a few years before I’m back but I will be sure to contact you when it time to head out to the Great Northwest!
I very much enjoyed staying at this Bed & Breakfast.The house is full of charming details. Our big bedroom had a lovely niche with an antique desk. The bathroom had separate tiled shower and bathtub. Liana, our hostess, provided a variety of breakfast items, and good conversation as well. She invited me to enjoy her garden, full of herbs, vegetables, and flowers. I sat in the sun on the back porch and painted a watercolor. I hope to go back again.
Good restaurants are within walking distance--like the 74th St.Grill and Dukes Chowder House (Wow!)--and Green Lake is nearby, a beautiful place to walk. Enjoy!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the B&B Near Greenlake. The bedroom/bathroom upstairs was very roomy and comfortable and in a great location for our visit to relatives in Green Lake. The grounds and garden around the house are lovely & homey. The reservation system was easy to use and the hosts were very accommodating. They are wonderful & interesting people. We will very likely use their facilities again when we visit Seattle & have recommended them to other family members.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the B&B Near Greenlake. Prior to arrival I received excellent instructions as to how to find the residence and where to park – all spot on. My hostess was available when I arrived and I was given a tour of the set-up. My accommodations were spacious and perfect for my needs. It was in close proximity to my daughter’s home and any shopping that I might have needed to do. Yes, I would book it again!
I have stayed here four times over the last few years. The room is pleasant and spacious, price very reasonable, location good. I appreciate that you serve your own modest breakfast at your leisure. The owners are very agreeable.
We Enjoyed a delightful 3 nights in Seattle based from our B&B Near Greenlake. We find it close to the bus line to town. Our Hosts Liana and Parementer were a delight, very helpful and friendly. A comfortable bed and a lovely room in a beautiful house!

It's tasteful decor with the warmth of wood paneling and
art is right out of something you might see in Architectural Digest.

My brother and I had a fabulous stay at the B&B Near Greenlake. We travelled to Seattle from the East coast to see my sons who live in Seattle. The hosts are friendly and gracious innkeepers - we were warmly received and felt immediately welcomed. The accommodations are roomy and clean. Neighborhood is safe, quiet, and accessible to many of Seattle's offerings. We particularly enjoyed the fresh plums picked daily from the garden! I highly recommend the B&B Near Greenlake and hope to stay there again when next visiting Seattle.
